Hi Totos,

Just came back from 3 days 3 nights fishing in Luconia Shoals, 12hrs from Miri, Sarawak in Malaysia.

It was a different fishing experience from Burma Banks as I managed to experiment and change tactics a few times to suit the conditions there.
I started out jigging with heavy Rector and Gawky but without much success. Depth was from 70-220m and the current was moderate.
I noticed that the catches were mostly fast chasing fishes like Yellowfin tuna, skipjacks and bigeye trevally. We were also informed by the captain that there were amberjacks around the area. I switched to high pitching smaller cranky and spunky (60-140gm) and was immediately rewarded with a big eye.

=== Catches ===
Yellowfin
Skipjack
Bigeye Trevally
Amberjack
Wahoo
Rainbow Runner

Good job Mohamad! Looks like you had some tricky situations, but you were flexible and resourceful enough to be successful.
