I will arrange your lodging. As suggested above, I recommend to stay in Ginoza, my village, so that I’ll be close to you and I can pick you up to go to and back from fishing trips easily. I have work to do on Thursday and Friday during the day but we can do something in the evening.
Also, February is a squid season. If you do eging, bring your tackle. You’ll be so close to popular eging points. We can shoot for some hairtails from shore in the evening too.
Even if it doesn’t fill the minimum number of participants, we’ll go fishing anyway. We might not be able to invite Mr. Hirota for workshop and the price per head may be changed slightly. But we can book a boat according to our budget and the difference should not be much different.
Post up your questions and requests if you have any.
Looking forward to meeting you and fishing with you guys!

So, the price of the boat is split between anglers or is that per head?
Hi Arfan.
The boat fee is per head. That is the maximum. It can be less when there’s many participants or when we book cheaper boats. It’s actually hard to decide which boat to book without any idea of the number. Chartering a good spankered jigging boat is usually JPY50,000 to 70,000. There is also a good one JPY30,000. So we’ll be flexible. I just wanted to give you an idea of the budget.
Will any of your team or any other members be attending the Osaka Tackle show? I’ll be attending but have to go to China soon after. Would be great to see more of the tackle used
Hi Chris.
Thank you for your comment. But I’m not going to Osaka Tackle show.
If you want to check out the latest slow pitch jigging, don’t miss to see Evergreen, Seafloor Control, Deepliner, Beat, and Angler’s Support Service.
Have a great time!!!
