Here’s Itsik from Israel playing with some amberjack.
He caught twice as many fish as his fishing buddies with hi-speed jigging.

Hi totos,

Last Friday I go to fish with my partners.
At the beginning its start bad. With missed fish, cut line…
But after some time I start to smile:
I start with 3 missed fish, 2 small fish attack my jigs one of them was small mackerel, 4-5 small amberjacks that I catch and more missed fish.

I finish the day a with big smile.

You can see all on this movie:

Good going Itsik.

I see that you were successful with high speed lifts with occasional long jerk and fall. And you are getting small amberjacks after the fall.

Juvenile fish is curious and bites on fast moving targets. But there may be bigger ones around. They are looking for easy targets.

If you want to take a shot at bigger ones, you may want to slow down a little bit. More small slow consecutive pitches and falls and less high speed lifts. Focus more on your rod actions rather than on your reel actions.

Good luck!
Totos
